PAWS, is an animal welfare NGO in Mauritius, operating two shelters and clinics. Our focus is on sterilisation, education, and rescuing animals in distress and rehoming them.
We are an accredited NGO in Mauritius (registered with National Social Inclusion Foundation – NSIF) and are totally reliant on public donations and CSR sponsorship. We are not affiliated to any political, ethnic or religious group, or to any international organisation.

PAWS aims to improve the lives of companion animals in Mauritius and assist in humanely managing the population of dogs and cats via education and sterilisation. Our goal is to prevent and eliminate all cruelty to all animals whether arising through ignorance, neglect or deliberate cruelty.
